Play therapy, cognitive-behavioural work and parent guidance for children and adolescents aged 4–17.
2,400 TRY per session
Children often express feelings through play and behaviour rather than words. In child and adolescent therapy, play, drawing and stories are used to reach the child's inner world, while regular sessions with parents strengthen support at home.
When do families come?
- Difficulty adjusting to school, separation anxiety, exam anxiety
- Anger outbursts, lying, defiant behaviour
- Difficulty with friendships, peer bullying
- Effects of life changes such as divorce, moving or loss
- Night fears, bedwetting and sleep problems
The process
The first meeting is with the parents; then 3–4 assessment sessions are planned with the child or adolescent. Play therapy is used for ages 4–11, and a cognitive-behavioural approach with talk-based sessions for ages 12–17. A feedback meeting with parents is held every 6 sessions while the child's privacy is protected.
If attention deficit or autism spectrum is suspected, we refer to child psychiatry for diagnostic evaluation.
