Long-lasting worry about everyday matters, health or the future that is hard to control.
In generalised anxiety the mind constantly produces 'what if' scenarios and the body stays tense. Support is needed when worry stops being a useful alert and begins to narrow life.
In cognitive-behavioural therapy you learn to recognise worry patterns, build tolerance for uncertainty and fit relaxation and breathing practice into your daily routine. Most clients notice a clear easing within 12–20 sessions.
